Thinley Wangchuk

Founder | Travel Advisor

Thinley has spent over a decade in Bhutan’s travel industry as a guide and travel consultant. His experience exploring Bhutan, together with his studies in Tourism and Business Administration in Australia, has shaped his approach to travel. As Founder of Rustic Frontiers, he enjoys creating personal journeys that show travellers a different side of Bhutan.

Yeshi Namgyel

CEO

After nearly two decades in civil and corporate services, Yeshi followed his passion for travel and joined the tourism industry. Having visited more than 19 countries, he brings international experience, strong leadership and a deep appreciation of Bhutanese culture to his role as CEO of Rustic Frontiers.

Tshering Choden Namgyel

Director (Finance and Operations)

Born and raised in eastern Bhutan, Tshering studied Tourism and Hospitality and brings her knowledge of the region to Rustic Frontiers. She oversees finance and operations while helping create journeys that introduce travellers to Bhutan’s local culture, traditions and lesser-explored destinations, particularly in the east.

Yejay Yejay

Tour Manager (Culture)

Yejay loves sharing stories about Bhutan’s history, culture and everyday life. Known for his friendly nature and good sense of humour, he makes every tour enjoyable and informative. He knows eastern Bhutan particularly well and enjoys birdwatching, hiking, and baking pastries when he is not guiding.

Pema Wangchuk

Tour Manager (Nature)

Pema has spent years guiding travellers through Bhutan and loves being outdoors. He is especially interested in birdwatching, photography, hiking and wildlife. Known for his gentle nature and the care he shows his guests, Pema makes people feel at home while sharing his love and knowledge of Bhutan’s natural beauty.
